Surrogate EFT with a difference – tapping on cat

The other day, I needed to tap for flu and a chest infection. My cat, sensing my distress, came to me. She is not a lap cat. She seemed to offer her body, so I thought why not? I tapped on her head and either side of her spine until I got relief.

She stayed with me all the while I needed to tap. Amazing. In other words, my cat surrogated her body for my tapping. Maybe that is partly what happens when someone strokes a dog or cat, which is well documented to produce calm and improved health. Only in EFT it is more targeted for what you need to let go of.

When you have a chronic physical condition, anything that either emotionally or physically has a negative impact on you can make the condition worse. EFT is one way of throwing away the emotional rubbish collecting in your system. In the same way that we dispose of our household rubbish regularly for home cleanliness and hygiene, I use EFT to dispose of negative emotions for my optimal physical health—Disclaimer – You are advised to consult with your medical practitioner before embarking on any course of alternative, complementary, or beauty therapy.
