Last week to my dismay after many hours’ research on the internet, trying to find one journal article to buy that may possibly identify my condition’s name, I find none. I tap as I search. No Setup, no Reminder. I slept exhausted but more peaceful, as I realised why I had never been diagnosed. If it was not for my efforts, I have no doubt that by now I would have emphysema (and would have done for at least 15 years). But because of my efforts, something doesn’t add up for the medics and nobody wants to treat me privately because they don’t understand my condition (I made attempts recently and gave up when they all did) and the government NHS wants to put me on steroids in the mistaken belief that it may somehow fix my non-existent asthma. So I peacefully made a pact with myself to call my condition Smokers Lung and this way nobody can argue with that, it’s a layman’s term that is as nonthreatening to anyone as you can get. I tapped some more and made plans even more logically than before. This way, EFT has produced another cognitive shift for me, allowing me to think more clearly and feel more at peace.
When you have a chronic physical condition, anything that either emotionally or physically has a negative impact on you can make the condition worse. EFT is one way of throwing away the emotional rubbish collecting in your system. In the same way that we dispose of our household rubbish regularly for home cleanliness and hygiene, I use EFT to dispose of negative emotions for my optimal physical health. — EFT with Me, Suzanne Zacharia, Practitioner — Disclaimer – You are advised to consult with your medical practitioner before embarking on any course of alternative, complementary, or beauty therapy.
