Feeling sorry for myself

Something (private) happened and I am feeling sorry for myself. I don’t want this to get in the way of my health. Nor do I want it to get in the way of my gym fitness plan. At the moment it’s a 6 out of 10, and I feel it like a vice tightening in my throat.  It is private, so let’s call it X, for the purpose of this post.
