Buteyko-EFT exercise on break at work

Still recovering from the chest infection from hell, I continue with my breathing exrcises. I’m at work doing my accounts. I’m taking time out for a short Buteyko break.

I tapped on my Gamut point, my favourite spot, as I did the first one. CP (a Buteyko term, measuring lung capacity) 12. Can do better. So I did my next breathing exercise.

Then I tapped for “Even though I can’t hold my breath longer than 12 seconds…”

Result: CP 13.

Despondent and despairing, I tapped:”Even though this is hard, I wish I wasn’t at work but could just run in the gym, that’s more fun, I deeply love and accept myself”

One more time with the exercise. Three in total.

If you have COPD or asthma, you can do a quick Buteyko exercise with EFT in a break at work too. It’s easy.

Result:  Took my CP again. CP 15. Woooohoooo!

When you have a chronic physical condition, anything that either emotionally or physically has a negative impact on you can make the condition worse. EFT is one way of throwing away the emotional rubbish collecting in your system.
