The Buteyko breathing re-training with EFT has resulted in that period of adjustment that I have been told of. I have also been busy with the new New Age London clinic in the City and have been stealing moments for the gym. So today, I was in the gym with plenty of time for exercise. I used EFT in the changing room just before going to the gym, just as I was wondering if I can go for a whole hour or maybe even two.
I tapped on convenient EFT points that felt right, saying “two hours” until it felt right to be there for two hours. Then in the gym, I set the bike on 60 minutes and wondered whether I can do (less than) half my personal best this year – 6 minutes at 100 RPM. I did one minute at 100 RPM in my interval training, then after a while at 70, I did one more minute, then dropped speed again. Then it occured to me that I can do 4 minutes all in one go to get rid of the 6 minutes. It seemed impossible. So I EFTed all my favourite points (I have ways and means of doing this in public) while saying “Can I do 4 minutes? Maybe I can do 4 minutes. Would I last 4 minutes? Am I capable of 4 minutes?” Then I EFTed the points again to a clever NLP trick: “Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes…” I did just over 4 minutes! At 100 RPM! Without any meds since early this morning! Buteyko and EFT are grrrrreat!
Even better, I managed another half minute or so at 100 RPM while reading the paper! Yaaaay! Then I moved onto the machines to build up my body from the last time I had a chest infection that bothered me. I stayed for 2 hours in the gym and loved every minute. I feel great.
When you have a chronic physical condition, anything that either emotionally or physically has a negative impact on you can make the condition worse. EFT is one way of throwing away the emotional rubbish collecting in your system. In the same way that we dispose of our household rubbish regularly for home cleanliness and hygiene, I use EFT to dispose of negative emotions for my optimal physical health.— EFT with Me, Suzanne Zacharia, Practitioner —-Disclaimer – You are advised to consult with your medical practitioner before embarking on any course of alternative, complementary, or beauty therapy.
