I tapped on my Gamut point, my favourite spot, as I did the first one. CP (a Buteyko term, measuring lung capacity) 12. Can do better. So I did my next breathing exercise.
Then I tapped for “Even though I can’t hold my breath longer than 12 seconds…”
Result: CP 13.
Despondent and despairing, I tapped:”Even though this is hard, I wish I wasn’t at work but could just run in the gym, that’s more fun, I deeply love and accept myself”
One more time with the exercise. Three in total.
If you have COPD or asthma, you can do a quick Buteyko exercise with EFT in a break at work too. It’s easy.
Result: Took my CP again. CP 15. Woooohoooo!
When you have a chronic physical condition, anything that either emotionally or physically has a negative impact on you can make the condition worse. EFT is one way of throwing away the emotional rubbish collecting in your system. In the same way that we dispose of our household rubbish regularly for home cleanliness and hygiene, I use EFT to dispose of negative emotions for my optimal physical health.—Disclaimer – You are advised to consult with your medical practitioner before embarking on any course of alternative, complementary, or beauty therapy.
